Austin’s shattering records.

Wednesday’s high of 73 eviscerated the previous temperature record of 60 degrees, set in 1990. Thursday’s forecast of 74 could break the 70-degree record set in 2003, and Friday’s estimated high of 76 could break the previous record of 72 set in 2003.

Tuesday’s high was 64 degrees, slightly higher than the 62-degree record set in 1997.
