Taylor Jane Wytaske, 32, left us peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, at her home.

Taylor was born on Aug. 10, 1986, in Rochester, Minnesota. She attended Banfield Elementary School, Ellis Middle School and Austin High School.

Taylor loved coloring, all things artsy-craftsy, cuddling with her pets and, most of all, spending time with the love of her life, Mike. He treated her like a China doll and was her constant companion.

She is survived by her parents, Alyssa and Robert Mentel of Austin, Minnesota, and Peter Wytaske of Lansing, Minnesota; brothers, Travis and Joe; grandmother, Barbara Clawson; her soul mate, Michael Cain; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be missed by her six fur babies and sweet dog, Sadie.

Taylor was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill Lanton, Gary Clawson, Clarence and Elaine Mentel, and L.D. and Louise Wytaske; and infant brother, Jared Mentel.

A funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018, at Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Austin. Coffee and cake will be served following the service in Cunningham Hall.
