A panel of 45 jurors from across the United States selected the top photographs from nearly 5,000 total submitted entries at Gwinnett Technical College in Georgia. Judged against a standard of excellence, just over 1,800 images are selected for the General Collection and approximately 7 to 12 percent were selected for the Loan Collection—the best of the best.

Titled, “Get Derby or Get Wrecked”, (a composite team poster done of the Minnesota Southbound Rollers) Adams’ photograph has won the high honor of being published in the Loan Collection. This is the second time in three years Adams has been published in the Loan Collection.

“I definitely was not expecting to go Loan,” Adams said. “That image took a long time to create. It’s nice to know the judges value and appreciate my hard work and talents.”

Adams’ two other international award-winning prints accepted into the General Collection include, “Breaking Free” (Fine Art) and “Triathlete” (high school senior). This is the third year Adams has entered IPC. He has gone Loan two out of his three years entering
