Raul Castillo, 62, Wells

Raul Castillo, 62, of Wells, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Missionary Javier Rodriguez will officiate and interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery in Wells. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells is in charge of arrangements.
Raul was born June 22, 1950, in Harlingen, Texas, to Jesus and Micaela (Romero) Castillo. He graduated high school in Harlingen and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He married Elizabeth, and to this union three children were born.
Raul was a supervisor at Cybex in Owatonna for more than 20 years. He loved his family. He was a loyal Texan and a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. He was also a big Beatles, Cher and Grupo Mazz fan. He loved going for walks and drinking coffee; he had to have hot and spicy food. More than anything, he loved God.
Raul is survived by his mother, Micaela Castillo; children Priscilla and Ruben Valenzuela, Linda and Vicente Torres and Leticia and Carlos Guadalupe; his sisters, Dolores and Roberto Morales, and Maria and Roberto Almendarez; 14 grandchildren; eight nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jesus Castillo, and his wife, Elizabeth Castillo.
