Frank graduated from Austin High School in 1960 and received a Bachelors Degree, magna cum laude, in Economics from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota, in 1963. He married the love of his life Barbara Gale McMahon Dvorak in 1963. Frank graduated magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1967. He lived and practiced law briefly in southern California. The rest of his life Frank was a true Minnesotan, living and working in Plymouth and Minneapolis, Minnesota. Frank practiced law for 45 years as a partner at Foley & Mansfield and Mackall, Crounse & Moore in Minneapolis.
