JoAnn M. Leighton, 78, of Chaska, formerly of Austin, Minnesota, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Jan. 7, 2015.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Leighton; and infant son, Stephen.

She is survived by children: Kellie (Scott) Oppler, Scott, Rob (Anna), Kristin (Scottie) Hines; eight grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring.
