Austin’s Got Talent is making its way into town once again.

The third annual musical showcase will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29 at the Paramount Theatre.

“It’s time for people from Minnesota to come out,” said Denny Charnecki, Austin’s Got Talent promoter. “Anybody is welcome.”

Charnecki said contestants aren’t limited to just local residents, as organizers will welcome people from all over. Participants will have four minutes to show their musical chops to judges, with the first, second and third-place winners moving on to perform at the Paramount’s annual New Year’s Eve program and other shows organized by Charnecki across the Midwest, depending on their skill.

In addition, winners will get an expenses paid recording session from Sound Tronics Full Service Entertainment Sound & Lighting.

“We’re paying for all of that,” Charnecki said. “All the time, all the technicians, all the mixing.”
