Both sessions are played weekly at the Mower County Senior Center. Players don’t need to be obligated to become a member. Tuesday sessions start at 12:30 p.m. and Wednesday sessions start at noon. The early start on Wedndesday is to accommodate players  who come a long distance to play.

Players come from Austin, Adams, Rose Creek, Albert Lea, Northwood and Mason City, Iowa, and Wednesday, we welcomed a team from Blue Earth. The main goal of both of these groups is to advance the game of Duplicate Bridge, which has been lauded by the medical field as a probable influence in warding off signs of dementia and Alzheimers. It is a competitive game, where players vie both for places and prize money. All bridge players are encouraged to show up at the Senior Center in Austin. Call Joyce at 437-2750 if you need a partner. She will find you one and your seat is guaranteed.
