Julie Ann Griem, 54, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020, surrounded by her loving family at the Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha, Iowa.

She was united in marriage to Mark Applen on March 15, 2008.

Julie is survived by husband, Mark Applen; two children, Nicholas and Hannah Applen; stepchildren, Josh (Nicole) Applen and Nate (Stacy) Applen; and step-grandchildren, Parker and Everett.
