Wings surge past Bruins to win in OT

The Austin Bruins saw a two goal lead disappear in the third period as they lost to the Aberdeen Wings (10-4-4-1 overall) 3-2 in overtime in Riverside Arena Saturday.

Mason McCormick scored to give Austin a 2-0 lead early in the third, but the Wings tied the game when Natan Vertes scored late in the third and they won it when Mack Byers scored in overtime.

Tyler Shea had 33 saves in the loss for Austin (9-7-2-2 overall).
