The Lyle-Pacelli football team was edged out by a score when it lost to Spring Grove (5-2 overall) 20-14 in Lyle Friday.

LP’s Cole Walter hit Zach Bollingberg for a 14-yard TD pass to tie the game at 14-14 with 10:25 left in the fourth quarter, but Spring Grove (5-2 overall) came up with the game-winning score when Mitchell Reynolds ran for a 27-yard TD.

Walter threw for 115 yards and two scores for LP (1-6 overall).
