Jill Rae Phipps, 61, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019, in Mulberry Grove, Illinois.

Jill was born Oct. 16, 1957, in Austin, Minnesota, the daughter of Norman and Clara (Vogelsang) Vasey. She grew up in Austin and attended Austin High School. Jill worked several years for Mulberry Grove Market, doing any job that needed doing.

Survivors include her mother, Clara Vasey of Austin; husband, Charles Phipps of Mulberry Grove; two children, Michael (Bridgette Tate) Martin and Michaela Martin, both of Mulberry Grove; grandchildren, Kimberlee Martin, Brandon Martin, Jacob Martin, Molly Martin, Cloe Martin, Cody Martin, Savannah Long, Chelsea Long, Desirea Henson and Jayden Henson; great-grandchildren, Raelynn Stief and Mia Long; and two sisters, Norma (Verne) Olson and Betsy (Bruce) Stewart, both of Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her father, Norman Vasey; and a daughter, Jessie Martin.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 8, 2019, at Grandview Cemetery in Austin.
