Alissa Leann Fuentes, 20, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Methodist Campus-Rochester.

Alissa was born Dec. 12, 1998, in Wichita, Kansas, and raised by her parents, Jessica and Weezie Fuentes. She graduated from Austin High School in 2017. Family was most important to her and she was devoted to her son, Cassius. She loved music. In Alissa’s short life, it was all or nothing with her; she was very real and told it like it was without a filter. She was a fighter and very tough. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Alissa is survived by her parents, Jessica and Weezie Fuentes, Austin; son, Cassius Drenth, Austin; siblings, Raymond Lucero, Aleena Fuentes, Alianna Fuentes, Angel Fuentes, Izaiah Fuentes and Michael Fuentes, all of Austin; and grandmother, Rita Ontiveros, Newton, Kansas.

A prayer service will be held at noon on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church with Intern Pastor Lucas Lekander officiating. Friends may greet the family after the prayer service until 2 p.m. A reception will follow the visitation. Clasen-Jordan Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
