Marlene Yost, 84, formerly of LeRoy, Minnesota, died Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at Samaritan Bethany Nursing Home in Rochester, Minnesota.

She was born July 31, 2019, in St Ansgar, Iowa, and graduated from Carpenter, Iowa, High School. She was united in marriage to Darold Yost on Sept. 6, 1953, in St Ansgar.

She is survived by her husband, Darold of Rochester; daughter, Jolene (Alan) Hansen of Rochester; sons, Doug (Julie) Yost of Eyota, Minnesota, and Roger (Alicia) Yost of Eden Prairie, Minnesota; and a daughter-in-law, Julie Yost-Minnich of Stewartville, Minnesota; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Neil; brother, Wayne; and sister, Lorraine Foster.

Services will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, May 24, 2019, at the LeRoy Lutheran Church in LeRoy. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Condolences may be left at www.hindtfuneralhomes.com.
