Police are looking for a silver 2012 Chevy Equinox taken from a garage in the northeast quadrant of Austin on Thursday.

According to Austin Police Chief Brian Krueger, officers responded to a vehicle theft call at 7:08 a.m. on Thursday.

The victim stated the vehicle had been stolen from the garage between 3-5 a.m. The service door of the garage was unlocked and garage chord had been used to open the garage door. The vehicle was also unlocked and the keys were inside.

The vehicle had a ¾ tank of gas and has Minnesota plates 515GZK.

There are no suspects at this time.
