Winds from Tuesday afternoon’s storms were listed as the cause of a semi-wreck on Highway 56.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a wind gust blew over a 2021 Kenworth tractor driven by Todd J. Wolter, 62, of Denver, Iowa at 205th Street and blocked the road for a time.

The incident took place at around 2:48 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. Wolter was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System-Austin with non-life threatening injuries.

Adams Fire Department, Rose Creek Fire Department, the Mower County Sheriff’s Office and Mayo Ambulance responded.
