Arnold E. Schwamm, 79, of Reads Landing, Minnesota, formerly of Austin, Minnesota, died Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017.

He was born Aug. 22, 1938, in Austin, the son of Edward and Alice (Schwartz) Schwamm. He was the owner and operator of A & S Auto Parts Store in Austin for many years.

He is survived by daughter, Andrea Schwamm-Arndt, Lancaster, California; three grandsons, Nicholas, Ethan and Derek Arndt; and sister, Nancy (Terrance) Heisick, Big Lake, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in California.
