Christie Hanson, daughter of Lori and Kevin Hanson of Rose Creek, and Jared Zillgitt, son of Colette and Rick Zillgitt of Dexter, are proud to announce their engagement.

Christie is a 2006 Southland High Shcool graduate who just graduated from Veterbo University School of Nursing in May 2011. She works at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester.

Jared is a 2006 Southland High School graduate. He also graduated from Minnesota West Community and Technical College in 2008 for powerline technology. He works at Goodhue County Cooperative Electric.

Christie and Jared will unite in marriage 2:30 p.m. June 11, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Adams.

The couple will reside in Zumbrota.
