John D. Cochlin, 65, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away on July 2, 2016. He was born May 29, 1951.

John is survived by wife, Mary Ann; children: Jennifer Hestwood (Spencer), Emily Passo (Andrew), and John M. Cochlin (Jennifer); grandchildren: Caleb, Olivia, Ava, Quinn, and Amelia; brothers, Roger Cochlin and Don Cochlin (Lori); sisters: Jane Brown (Jerry), Maggie March (Mark), Patty Winkels (Mike), Cathy Hamblin, and Shirley Cochlin; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, Roger and Kathleen Cochlin; brother, Jim Cochlin.

A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 10, 2016, at the Bel Air Chapel, 12100 W. Center Rd., Omaha, with family receiving friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 11, 2016, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 14330 Eagle Run Drive, Omaha. Private Interment with military honors. Memorials to the John D. Cochlin Grandchildren College Fund or St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
