The Riverland Community College baseball team beat the Augsburg 11-9 on the road Friday.

Augsburg used its reserve players and the Blue Devils (19-6 overall) went deep into their bullpen as four separate pitchers threw in the win for RCC.

“It’s good to get some guys on the mound that haven’t been on the mound much,” RCC head coach Scott Koenigs said. “With all of our cancellations it’s tough for those guys. It’s tough to be sharp when you haven’t had a lot of innings. They threw strikes for the most part.”

The Blue Devils had just one hit from their top three hitters in the lineup, but the last three hitters compiled seven hits. Kelvin Llanos and Carlos Torres each had four RBIs in the win.
