FARGO, N.D. — A man is in custody after allegedly trying to ram a Fargo police car and then leading officers in Fargo and neighboring Moorhead, Minnesota, on a chase.

A Fargo officer en route to an emergency call about 1 a.m. Monday reported being nearly forced off the road twice by a pickup truck the officer had tried to pass.

The driver fled and police gave chase, eventually arresting the 45-year-old man in Moorhead after flattening his tires. Former charges were pending. A female passenger in the pickup was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
