Mary Lou Clennon, formerly of Austin, Minnesota, passed away Monday, May 4, 2015, in Greenville, South Carolina.

Mary Lou was born Feb. 12, 1925, to Joe and Olive Dahmen of Austin. Mary Lou and Eugene Clennon were married in October 1943 in Austin and were married for 36 years and blessed with three sons, Eugene Pat Clennon (deceased), Rodney Allen Clennon (Greenville, SC) and Scott Michael Clennon (Gray Court, SC).

Mary Lou enjoyed her family and grandchildren as well as her travels to Europe, South America and her second home in Acapulco, Mexico.

She was preceded in death by her parents Olive and Joe Dahmen, sisters Sandra Carolson and Martha Klimeck, brother Earl Dahmen, son Eugene (Pat) Clennon, and grandson Thomas Clennon, all from Austin.

Mary Lou is survived by two sons, Rod and Scott Clennon; ex-husband, Eugene Clennon; sister-in-law, Marion (Ashton) Clennon, and many grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 29, at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary with the Rev. Shari Mason officiating. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery. Visitation will be at the mortuary for one hour before the service on Friday.
