With the recent spell of warm weather comes a chance to get outside and enjoy the fresh air, and it also gives golfers a chance to get a head start on the season.

Meadow Greens Golf Course will be open for play this Saturday and it may be the earliest the course has ever opened. Usually, the course has had to wait until at least St. Patrick’s Day before opening for golf.

Austin Country Club still isn’t certain when it will open play as there is still frost on the ground.
