Dahl

Ronnie Dahl was born July 25, 1925, in Dodge County, Minnesota, to Harold and Lydia (Baumgartner) Dahl. He served in the Philippines during WWII for the United States Navy from 1943 to 1946.

After the service he came back home to work for Lysne Construction; during this time he met his wife June Ebenhoh, and they were married on June 30, 1948, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Shortly after, Ronnie got a job at Hormel Foods. They moved around the area for a few years, finally settling down south of Blooming Prairie out in the country. He enjoyed all the animals he and June had out on the farm, and especially his John Deer tractors. He retired from Hormel foods after 39 years. In retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family; according to his grandkids “he was the best papa” and to the great-grand-kids “the best poopa.”
