Duplicate Bridge

Tournament results for Sept. 10 with four tables played: First place, Tom Flaherty and Stan Schultz; second place, Vandy Newman and Gene Muchow; third place, Dave Ring and Orrion Roisen; fourth place, Bud Higgins and Jim Fisher; fifth place, Millie Seiver and Joyce Crowe.

Duplicate Bridge is played each Wednesday at noon at the Mower County Senior Center in Austin. All Bridge players are welcome. Call Dave Ring at 507-434-4189.

 Y Women

Y’s Women of the Hormel Historic Home began their new season September 11 with a trip to the Oakenwald Terrace, a beautiful and historic B&B in Chatfield.  A delightful lunch and tour by Marion Lund was enjoyed by all.

Judy Goergen was welcomed as a new member.  Club booklets were made by Connie Olson.

The next meeting will be Oct. 9 at 5:30 p.m. at the Hormel Home with the program on nutrition.
