Alyssa Burton, daughter of Traci Dahlback and Bradley Burton of Austin, and Mason Toohey, son of Patricia Toohey-Carpenter and James Carpenter of Ann Arbor, Mich., proudly announce their engagement.

Alyssa is a 2006 Austin High School graduate and received her bachelor’s degree from Southwest Minnesota State University. She works at Hormel Foods. Grandparents of the bride are Lester and Gladys Hanson, Duane Dahlback, Doug and Pat Burton, all of Austin.

Mason is a 2003 Huron High School graduate and 2007 graduate of Western Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in electronic business design. He works for C.H. Robinson.

Alyssa and Mason will wed on March 1, 2014, at St. Olaf Church in Austin. They will live in Eden Prairie.
