The Riverland Community College men’s basketball team lost 70-60 to Luther JV in Riverland Gym Tuesday.

The Blue Devils (4-3 overall) led by 11 with 13 minutes left in the game, but they couldn’t close it out. RCC had 25 turnovers in the loss.

“If we play this way in our conference season, it’ll be a long year,” RCC head coach Scott Koenigs said. “We’ve got to have more heart and we’ve got to compete.”

Zach Hinrichs had 13 points and 10 rebounds for RCC.
