ADAMS — The Southland girls basketball team beat Chatfield (10-6 overall, 8-4 Three Rivers) 66-58 in Adams Tuesday.

Jana Schammel led the Rebels (12-2 overall, 11-1 Three Rivers) with 22 points.

Southland led by as many as 19 in the second half, but the Gophers pulled to within four to make things a little closer down the stretch.
