ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Fire officials say a woman has died in an early morning house fire in St. Paul.

Firefighters were called to her home about 3 a.m. Thursday where they saw flames shooting out of a first-floor bedroom. KARE-TV reports firefighters entered the house through the front door and found the woman in a bedroom. The fire was contained to the bedroom.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
