Tressa M. (Hall) Maxfield, 91
Tressa Marie (Hall) Maxfield, 91, of Austin died on Oct. 1, 2008 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Home.
Tressa was born July 11, 1917 in Forest City, Minn. to William and Mary (Scott) Hall. On Aug. 19, 1936 she was united in marriage to Donald D. Maxfield in Charles City, Iowa. He preceded her in death on Feb. 23, 2000.
Tressa was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, lunches with the girls and being with family. She will be missed by all.
Survivors include her children: Robert (Sharon) Maxfield, Owatonna, Ken (Jan) Maxfield, Pillager, Doris Olson, Rochester, Maxine (Parker) Bracken, Austin; daughter-in-law, Sandy Askland, Austin; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; brother, Chip (Audrey) Hall, Mission, Texas; sisters-in-law: Vivian Hall, Austin, Marian Hall, Austin.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her son, Donald W. Maxfield, and grandson, Craig Maxfield.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 at p.m. on Friday, Oct. 3, 2008 at Crane Community Chapel with Pastor Dale R. Christiansen officiating. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday at Mayer Funeral Home and one hour before the service at the church on Friday. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery.
The casketbearers will be Randy Maxfield, Justin Halverson, Jeremy Maas, Shelly Maxfield, Jaimen Wilson and David Bracken.
