NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON AN EXTENTION TO A
MINNESOTA DEED GRANT

Notice is hereby given that on June 17, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. at 500 4th Avenue NE, City Hall Council Chambers, the Austin City Council will hold a public hearing concerning submittal of an application to the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development for a grant under the Minnesota Investment Fund (MIF) program.

The Austin City Council is requesting an extension to the existing DEED grant agreement for job creation.

All interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing at which time you will be given the opportunity to express comments on the project.

Written testimony will also be accepted at the public hearing. Those unable to attend are invited to send written comments, prior to the hearing to: City Administrator, City of Austin, 500 4th Avenue NW, Austin, MN 55912.

The Austin City Council makes reasonable accommodation for any known disability and to meet the needs of non-English speaking residents that may interfere with a person’s ability to participate in this public hearing. Persons needing an accommodation must notify Brianne Wolf, City Clerk (507) 437-9944 no later than June 10, 2024 to allow adequate time to make needed arrangements.

HEARING/VARIANCE 5.14.24S HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Austin has received an application for rezoning of the following properties 34.174.0150, 34.174.0160, 34.174.0170, 34.174.0180, 34.174.0190, 34.174.0200, 34.174.0210, 34.174.0220, 34.174.0230, 34.174.0050, 34.501.0260. This requested action is to rezone the parcel from “R-1 Single Family” to “R-2 Multi Family”
Said petition of the requested rezoning will be heard at a regular meeting of the Austin City Planning Commission on Tuesday, May 14th, at 5:30 pm in Council Chambers of the Austin Municipal Building, 500 4th Avenue N.E., Austin, Minnesota, at which time and place all interested persons will be heard.
