Kathy Jo Schaefer, 58, died expectantly on Wednesday, April 1, 2020.

She was born May 8, 1961. Kathy was active in the St. Rose of Lima Parish. She spent her summers working at Plant Place and creating a majestic firework display of blooming flowers in her yard. Kathy treasured her time caring for her parents, sharing a summer beverage with her sisters, and visiting friends. Her Woodbury Elementary students knew they were loved unconditionally. Kathy loved selflessly and endlessly; thankfully never left unstated or unreturned. She will be remembered for that love and with that love as she watches over her family, friends, and students from Heaven.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Brian. Kathy is survived by her husband, Greg; sons, Garrett, Connor and Nicholas; parents, Ernest and Rosemary King; brothers, Brad and Jeff (Marie) King; sisters, Michelle (Jon) Ellingworth and Denise (Greg) Kinny; and 37 years of elementary students, countless friends and relatives.

Details of a funeral service will be disseminated at a future date. Memorials should be directed to a charity of sender’s choice. Roseville Memorial Chapel is assisting with arrangements.
