The Friends of the Library are reminding people that they are still collecting fabric as well as looking for people to sew to create more cloth bags for the Austin Public Library.

Those with fabric or wishing to take part should stop by the library’s front desk.

The bags were an effort starting last year to replace plastic bags the people used to carry books.
