In its 15th year, the Austin Area Foundation has announced $23,000 in grants that support community organizations.

“We continue to grow our funds so that AAF can be another asset for our community organizations, supporting their great work; our Austin Legacy fund is such a fund where earnings from this fund support Austin nonprofit organizations,” said AAF Executive Director Jeff Baldus. “We constantly look for ways to have a positive impact on this community of ours.”

AAF, said Baldus, is getting more broadly known and people are learning how they can positively impact the future through the AAF Legacy Fund, Basic Needs Fund and its newest fund, the Greatest Need Fund.

“We know AAF has a good and growing impact when we look at what our community – through donations from those who support AAF — has done. We will continue to work hard for the goal of improving life for people in our community.”
