The suspect is described as being a white man who is 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build, who was wearing a brown jacket, blue jeans, a face mask and black gloves, according to a press release.

Police were dispatched at 7:06 p.m. to the store, at 2526 Bridge Ave., on a report of a robbery in progress. Anyone with information on the robbery is advised to call Detective Deb Flatness at 507-377-5219 or the Law Enforcement Center at 507-377-5215.

It is unclear if there are any connections between this incident and an attempted robbery at America’s Best Value Inn Nov. 16.
