The Riverland Community College baseball team blasted three homers as it opened its season with a 13-1 win over Simpson, Iowa in Tuscon, Ariz. Friday.

Returning All-American and Rochester native Zach Schwieters, Risandro Pastor and Omar Colon all homered in the win for the Blue Devils (1-0 overall).

Returning All-American Mitch Kelly, who is from Lake Crystal, Minn., picked up the mound win by striking out nine in five innings of work.
