Golden Age Club

Everett De Young led the club by reciting the flag pledge.

Hazel Baldner, in place of Eloise, read a reading, “An Act of Love.” Simple acts show our love for others.

The secretary and treasurer’s reports were read. A balance of $512.39 shown as the treasurer’s balance. Secretary report approved by Ruth Van Hooser and Lucille Stratton. Treasurer’s report accepted by Del Srsen and Mary Ann Davis. No old business was discussed.

In new business, Ruth Van Hooser presented this to the club that Mary Jane’s wages could be increased. This was tabled and will be discussed at a board meeting.

Birthdays in February were celebrated by Lucille Stratton, Donna Spinler and Shirley De Young. Everett and Shirley De Young celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They shared an anniversary cake.

It was reported that Sally Michaels is back at her home. Anyone 55 or over is welcome to join the Golden Age Club.

 

Duplicate Bridge
