Baseball: Blue Devils set new RCC record with 14th straight win

The Riverland Community College baseball team set a new school record when it won its 14th game in a row after it swept Luther JV by scores of 8-7 and 16-4 in five innings in RCC Tuesday.
The Blue Devils (18-3 overall) won the first game when Omar Colon hit a walk-off sacrifice fly. Colon finished the day 4-for-6 with two homers, a double and nine RBIs.
“He’s really in groove and he’s really being patient at the plate,” RCC head coach Scott Koenigs said.
