ST. PAUL — A St. Paul-based baked goods company is warning consumers some of its bagels could have been contaminated with nut products due to a mistake by the ingredient supplier.

National Choice Bakery announced a bagel recall Monday because of possible undeclared peanuts or tree nuts that could pose a serious threat to people with food allergies. The recall was initiated after the company discovered peanuts and almonds were found in gluten from a single supplier used in the affected products, including Market Pantry, L’Oven Fresh, Village Hearth, Dan’s Pantry, Kroger and Lender’s bagels.
