NFL Picks: Riding with Romo?

Here are the picks:
Bucs at Falcons
After picking the Bucs two weeks in a row and having them lose both games, I’ve giving up on the Bucs. I thought Lovie Smith would be able to turn them around, but maybe there’s just enough talent there.
FALCONS 34, BUCS 13
Packers at Lions
The Green Bay defense was awful in the first half against the Jets, but solid in the second half. I’m just as concerned with the fact that the Packers haven’t been able to get Eddie Lacy going in either of the first two games.
LIONS 27, PACKERS 24
Chargers at Bills
The Bills are actually 2-0 which is a little hard to believe, and this game is actually a good one for them. The Chargers are coming off an emotional high with a win over the defending the champs and they may be a little too full of themselves, which is never good when you have to make a road trip across the country.
BILLS 24, CHARGERS 23
Cowboys at Rams
I don’t have much confidence in this pick, but I’m going with Tony Romo on the road after Dallas won a game. Guess I’m picking dangerously.
COWBOYS 17, RAMS 10
Redskins at Eagles
The Eagles better not fall behind 14-0 in this game like they have the last two weeks, because the Redskins are capable of rushing the ball and holding on to leads.
However, I just don’t think the Redskins have a enough weapons to keep up.
EAGLES 31, REDSKINS 21
Texans at Giants
The Texans’ defense will get to Eli Manning and force him to make mistakes.
TEXANS 20, GIANTS 10
Vikings at Saints
The Vikings just aren’t good without Adrian Peterson and the Saints need this one after starting 0-2. I give Matt Cassel about three more weeks before Teddy Bridgewater chants are being screamed out at TCF Bank Stadium.
SAINTS 35, VIKINGS 17
Titans at Bengals
The Bengals are solid on both sides of the ball and that’s enough to win most games in the NFL.
BENGALS 27, TITANS 14
Ravens at Browns
Cleveland was very emotional after last week’s win against the Saints and their defense can make plays. But the Ravens looked downright unstoppable in a Thursday night win over the Steelers last week.
RAVENS 20, BROWNS 17
Colts at Jaguars
What’s the best medicine for a team that is off to two disapointing losses? The Jacksonville Jaguars!
COLTS 41, JAGUARS 10
Raiders at Patriots
Tom Brady hasn’t exactly been lighting it up in the first two games, but I fully expect him to light up the Raiders on Sunday.
PATRIOTS 34, RAIDERS 10
49ers at Cardinals
This is a tricky game for the 49ers, who basically self destructed in the second half against the Bears. But it’s hard to go with Carson Palmer against a team that actually has a legitamate defense on the field.
49ERS 24, CARDINALS 14
Broncos at Seahawks
The Broncos embarassed themselves in the Super Bowl against the Seahawks. I think they’ll use that perfomance as motivation and turn the tables this time around.
BRONCOS 22, SEAHAWKS 19
Chiefs at Dolphins
I’ve got to believe in the Dolphins at home, if only because they beat New England in week one.
DOLPHINS 23, CHIEFS 17
Steelers at Panthers
I thought Pittsburgh was in for a bounce-back season, but they looked helpless against the Ravens front line on both sides of the ball last week.
PANTHERS 24, STEELERS 21
Bears at Jets
The Jets actually looked pretty good at times against the Packers on Sunday and I think they’ve got a good enough defense to force Jay Cutler into some bad throws.
JETS 21, BEARS 20
Last week: 8-8; overall: 8-8
