Thomas James Forstner, a longtime Austin resident and retired Hormel Foods Corporation employee, died Thursday, May 29, 2014, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Home in Austin.

Service: A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church with Father Jim Steffes officiating.

Interment: Inurnment will follow at Calvary Cemetery with military graveside rites performed by the Austin American Legion Post No. 91 and Austin V.F.W. Post No. 1216.

Memorials: Memorials in Tom’s name may be made to the Mower County Humane Society or the choice of the donor.
