Bruins drop game three to Bobcats

The Austin Bruins are on the verge of being knocked off by Bismarck for the third straight year in the NAHL Central Finals.

The Bruins were blanked 4-0 in Bismarck Friday and they now trail the five-game series 2-1.

Bismarck can wrap up a trip to the Robertson Cup with a win on Saturday at 8:05 p.m. in Bismarck.

Austin racked up 13 penalties in the loss and it came up empty on all 29 of its shot attempts.

Nick Lehr stopped 16 of the 19 shots he saw in the first two periods and Dillon Kelley stopped six of seven shots in the third period for Austin.

If the Bruins win on Saturday, game five will be in Riverside Arena Monday at 7:05 p.m.
