The Riverland Community College softball team beat Vermilion 9-1, but lost to Rainy River 15-4 in the Irish Dome in Rosemount Saturday.

Samantha LeMay, a freshman from Belle Plaine, Minn., went 8-for-15 in the four games in Rosemount for the Blue Devils (4-7 overall).
