The Lucille Johnson Pool Tournament returns to Carpenter Iowa tonight.

The tournament starts in the Carpenter Community Center at 7 p.m., with registration from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Play resumes at 10 a.m., Saturday, with the doors opening at 9 a.m. The tournament resumes again at noon Sunday.

The pool tournament is an event leading up to the Lyle Area Cancer Auction, which is next Friday and Saturday. Last year, the auction raised $200,000.
