The Riverland Community College softball team lost both games of a doubleheader to Mankato West by scores of 6-0 and 6-3 in Riverland Tuesday.

Austin grad Hope McAlister hit a homerun in the nightcap for the Blue Devils (5-4 overall, 5-4 MCAC South).

RCC will now prepare for the MCAC tournament, which will be held in St. Cloud, Minn. Friday and Saturday. The top three of six teams at that tournament will advance to Regionals.
