Sherry Jo Fisher, 53, of Austin, Minnesota, died unexpectedly on Friday, Dec. 25, 2015, at her home.

Sherry was born Oct. 23, 1962, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Jerry and Marion “Kay” (Lange) Eddy. Sherry was raised by her step-dad Chester and his wife Kay Klingfus since the age of 4. She grew up in Waterloo, Iowa, and later attended Austin High School. Right after high school, Sherry married Rick Kezar and the couple later divorced. On July 12, 1986, Sherry married Dennis Fisher. To this union two children were born, Benjamin and Jacqueline. The couple later divorced. Sherry enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom and raising her children, loved spending time with her cats, doing crafts and playing on her computer.

Sherry is survived by a son, Benjamin Fisher of Austin; a daughter, Jacqueline Fisher of Rochester, Minnesota; two cousins: Lori Jo Klingfus of Waterloo, Iowa, and Tim Klingfus of Cedar Falls, Iowa; Auntie Alyce and Roger Klingfus of Waterloo, Iowa; many other cousins, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Kay Klingfus.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015, at Crane Community Chapel in Austin with Pastor Dale Christianson officiating. Interment will follow the service at Calvary Cemetery in Austin, Minnesota. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday evening, Dec. 29, 2015, at Crane Community Chapel and for one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family. Services performed by the Worlein Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.worlein.com.
