Lois Jech (Heimer) was a dancer and entertainer extraordinaire. Lois strutted her stuff in lots of venues, and is now with the Lord of the dance. Lois, 74, succumbed to complications from Alzheimer’s, at Martin Luther Manor in Bloomington, Minnesota, on July 29, 2015.

This “leggy” babe was born tapping, on Jan. 10, 1941, in Austin, Minnesota. Lois graduated from Pacelli in 1959, and met and married Art out of their 35th high school reunion.

She is survived by her husband, Art; sons: Jay and Eric; and stepdaughter, Edel.

She is preceded in death by parents: Eugene and Catherine Heimer; and a sister, Cathy.

Siblings include: Patty, Joanne, Brooks, Jimmy, Barbie, and Larry.

Celebration of her life will be held on Aug. 7, at Nativity of Mary Catholic Church, 9900 Lyndale Ave. So., Bloomington, Minnesota, starting with visitation at 9 a.m., mass at 10 a.m., followed by a lunch. Memorials in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer’s Association, specifying Team Lois K Jech, Minneapolis Walk on Sept. 26, 2015.
