COON RAPIDS, Minn. — Authorities say an 84-year-old Anoka woman was killed and another driver was injured after a two-vehicle crash in Coon Rapids.

The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office says the woman’s vehicle collided with a minivan Thursday afternoon after crossing the center median into oncoming traffic. She was taken to a hospital, where she later died.

The minivan’s driver, a 61-year-old Coon Rapids woman, also was taken to a hospital. She suffered serious injuries that aren’t considered life-threatening.
