I’m pleased to announce the imminent arrival of a brand new website for the AACA.

While our address will remain the same (austinareaarts.org), we’re launching an entirely different look this week that we hope will help folks find what they’re looking for and provide an extension of the community we’re working hard to build.

The AACA is moving forward with the intention of presenting itself not as three separate entities, but as a single, unified organization.

To this end, we revamped the navigation bar and focused on a cleaner, simpler look. The main tabs run across the top of the site and indicate groups of pages for events, classes, ways to get involved, and more, all intuitively organized according to the various reasons one might visit us on the internet.

Our goal in rebuilding this site wasn’t just to provide a better resource for the goings-on of the AACA and its programs; we set out to illustrate the organization and show as visually as possible who we are and what we set out to do. Look for photo galleries across the site that depict everything from the construction of the ArtWorks Center to the fun our volunteers have.

As the site switches over, we’ll be looking for feedback on what you like, what you’re looking for, and how we could make it even better. Look for online class registration shortly after launch, and stay tuned for the posting of our spring events line-up at the Paramount.
