Freeborn County land records list the owners as Bruce and Wendy Niebuhr, owners of B&B Pallets.

Officials at the business could not be reached, and the voice mail box was full.

The Alden Fire Department responded, along with the Freeborn, Conger, Wells, Walters, Manchester, Minnesota Lake, Albert Lea Township and Kiester departments. Gold Cross Ambulance was also at the scene.

The release states the cause of the fire is unknown and remains under investigation. The house was surrounded by yellow tape Wednesday morning.
